Review: Orange Crush
Dec 13th, 2004 by Steve
After having tasted Coke's current orange soda entry (Fanta Orange) and Pepsi's somewhat-forgotten product (Orange Slice), it was time to give the folks at Cadbury Schweppes a try, as they currently have the licensing rights to Orange Crush.

Crush is somewhat hard to find these days, but it's still around. I seem to remember seeing it more during my childhood with its siblings, Grape Crush and Strawberry Crush. But once I opened the cap and drank of this beverage, I knew who was still the leader of the pack when it came to great orange taste… Orange Crush tastes wonderful!
The flavor is authentic (at least as far as artificial flavorings go). The smell and aftertaste don't leave you cringing. It's smooth going down and lasts with you in a positive way. This is how an orange-flavored pop should taste. Thus, I'd rank the preferences regarding orange soda this way:
If you have a chance to pick up a bottle of Orange Crush, don't pass it up. You'll regret it later!

I recently introduced my 12 year old daughter to Orange Crush.
I was suprised to see safeway carried it, and in the much desired bottle, no less.
(some plastics used for sodas have a terrible after taste, ruining the soda).
She loved it of course.
It brought back memories from my childhood, as we always had a Crush, whether Orange, the above mentione grape & strawberry, or others, like pineapple.
Nothing better on a hot summer day than a cold bottle of pineapple crush.
I also had Orange Crush as a kid and I recently tried it again and it did not taste the way that I had remembered it to be. The orange flavor many years ago was much better than today. Does anybody else feel this to be true and does anybody know whether the formula was changed as ownership has changed?
