It's still got that grape-inflused, citrus flavor and is very sweet. The drink starts out with very little grape flavor, but that quickly shows up as it moves across your tongue, disappearing once again in the aftertaste. It's just enough of a light grape flavor to create an interesting combination, almost as if you took Mountain Dew and combined it with watered-down grape Kool-Aid. I still content that Pitch Black shares a lot of flavor similarities as Amy Energy Traction. On a side note, my wife slightly disappointed by the taste, as she was more of a fan of the sour-flavor found in Pitch Black II.
