With the rollout of the new Jazz flavors, Pepsi will be phasing out Pepsi Vanilla, per this article from CNN:
…Sicher said it was also unclear whether "Jazz" will become a permanent addition to Pepsi's portfolio but that as the new products are launched, Pepsi will discontinue production of regular and diet Pepsi Twist and regular Pepsi Vanilla.
I think Pepsi Corp. made a huge mistake by discontinuing Pepsi Vanilla! For one, it blew Vanilla Coke away which is still sold in local Walgreen's only by the 56 ounce bottles, and second, Pepsi Vanilla was delicious and MANY people here in VA. loved it! It was hard to keep it in stock on the shelves in the grocery stores. The diet sat there but the regular was very popular and I believe by ending it, Pepsi is losing tons of money! IMHO and millions others, they should start making Pepsi Vanilla again and soon! I never in my life paid $5 for a 12 pack of any soda, but Pepsi vanilla was the only one soda that I did pay $5 for, for a 12 pack because it was that delicious!!!! I try my own by adding vanilla extract to regular Pepsi, it's good but just not the same! Please bring back Pepsi Vanilla non-diet!!!
