I am at the Coca Cola Store in Las Vegas and I asked the lady working behind the counter if the Barqs Red Cream Soda was caffeine-free and she said No. Its important to me to know because I am in my first trimester of pregnancy and refuse to drink anything with caffeine in it. Thank you for posting this article to inform me that indeed it is caffeine-free.

I just had this at Five Guys. I wouldn't drink it every day, it's a little too sweet, but once in a while it is great!

Barg's Famous red creme soda is much better than big red. I tried the big red soda and it tasted flat. Barg's red creme soda is the best, im drinking a can right now. Its my favorite and only soda/pop that I will purchase. If you've never tried it you need to, if you like big red you would love this soda twice as much. This revue by who ever did it sucks, try it for yourself, this guy is crazy. I live in ohio and it is avaliable at a store here called Marc's in salem ohio, although they run out frequently being the only store who caries it around here.not sure if its in other states or not (Marc's that is) . They also have bottles of it at the walmart gas station in salem ohio. Its a coca cola product so if you speak to the store ask them to stock it, they may be able too. Hope this helps. you can order it online but they charge alot for shipping, but if you really want it thats another option, just type bargs red cream soda in your browser and look around. at local stores it under $10.00 for a 12 pack of cans.

I first tried BRCS from a soda fountain at a pizza parlor here in the white mountains in Arizona. To my delight I actually found that Basha's grocery store here in Springerville carries 12-packs of it and I havnt ran out since. I LOVE the stuff! I couldnt believe when I read the review this guy at the top gave but im not suprised to see that no one has agreed with him and that we all love it :)

I grew up on BRCS as a kid in Ohio and miss it a lot. West Coasters will have to get it from one of the Swirescc.com distribution (not far enough west for me), I don't know about East Coasters, but hear reports of SC and LA.

Desperately missing Diet BRCS. I'd even bust my diabetes routine for a 2L of the full strength if I could find it here in central Pa.

Regional bottlers can't be bothered with production switch overs, so it seems. I have to fight regularly just to obtain Coke Zero cases or 24oz 6-packs. They just do mad runs on Coke and Diet Coke 2Ls and cans like it's going out of style.

As far as drying up the area on select products just to command boutique prices, well screw that, too. They've made me go this long without it, I guess I'll just keep waiting until some sharp salesman actually cares about his customers and offers his company's full line of products.

Like they say, "Barq's has bite", But their Red Creme is THE BEST! Used to be able to get it in most every store in the KY, OH and IN area but it is getting harder to find now and when a store does get some, it is sold out the same day it is stocked on the shelves. When I get up in the area, I normally buy between 4-12 cases since they do not sell here in FL. Getting it shipped from LA cost about $25 a case. Even had one friend's daughter almost get in a fight with some woman over the last case on the shelf in Ohio 2 years ago. When I lived in NJ, I had 1 store that could have sold a 50 Trailer load a week.

My local fuel stop, like most, sells a variety of fountain drinks. Among them is Fanta Red, which is a cream soda. However, I do not recall ever having seen it available in any grocery stores, even in past decades. Therefore, I set out on a quest to find where I might acquire some, as it is my favorite fountain drink.
My findings revealed that Fanta Red is still actively marketed in Canada and in one or two other countries abroad, but is not currently available in the United States. Additionally, after searching and cross-referencing a number of Coca-Cola associated websites who share the following claim, and performing my own taste-test, I now believe that Barq's Red Cream Soda and Fanta Red are indistinguishable tastewise and in appearance and, hence, one and the same. Considering that they are both Coke products, it is in my own opinion that Barq's Red Cream Soda is relabled Fanta Red to be marketed in the United States since Barq's has a more notable presence as a rootbear brand, and since most of the competition, such as A&W, also market one or more cream soda varieties. At any rate, I will be abandoning any further searches for Fanta Red and continue to buy Barq's Red in its stead and never miss a beat :^D
