That's sad that it tasted bad, because I was planing to get my Uncle to bring be back some from montana. Also, I have heard it tastes like black licorice, is that true?

I tried this stuff , it was horrible. I ignored every reviewer saying don't try it. You might too. You'll come to regret wasting your money. Its WAY too sugary and not even the good kind of sugary.

Ok, I had this just the other day for the first time. It was not worth my buck and a half. It was pretty undesirable. I couldn't even finish it and I love root beer floats! Don't waste your time or money.

My friend and I came up with this concept 15 years ago. Of course we were in High School at the time and had no idea how to patent it. And even if we had, it would have expired by now and would have been public domain for anyone to grab. That's probably what really happened. I will say one thing, they have missed an opportunity but I'll be damned if I'm going to leak the secret before I see a fat check in my mailbox.

I have never been a fan of root beer floats or Coke floats for that matter. The pop and ice cream mixture was not to my liking plus at the end the left over brown foam reminded me of that sludge that sometimes accumulates on ponds and streams when the bacterial content is high.

That being said, I would still try this to see what it tastes like. I also wonder if you made an actual root beer float using this A&W Float soda.
