Pepsi has implemented a stop-gap measure to shore up their orange-flavored misfortunes such as Tropicana Twister Soda Orange. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Pepsi Bottling Group has just signed a U.S. distribution deal for Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s Crush.
Pepsi has brought back the discontinued Pepsi Twist flavor for a limited time, but given it a new name: Pepsi Lemon NFL Kickoff. It tastes like the same formula. If you miss the lemon-sweetened flavor of that “Pepsi + Pledge” drink — or really want to support the NFL and the start of football season — then make sure you track down this beverage before it disappears. Otherwise, you really aren’t missing much.
Started last fall, the DEWmocracy initiative outlined the journey for the next Mountain Dew by seemingly providing fans the ability to narrow down choices of flavors, and then finally this summer, voting on the final 3. The voting closed at the end of July. The winner is Mountain Dew Voltage, the darker, richer of the two berry flavors in the contest.
