I am currently a NCAA division I athlete and my parents along with myself are involved in the Vemma business. My mom is very concerned with me taking the product due to the fact that it isn't FDA approved. For any of you guys posting about the NCAA passing the Vemma products could you let me in on information about that? I want to take the product but can't unless it gets approved! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

For those of you worried about the ingredients in verve and whether it will pass muster for athletes. Take a look at the Phoenix Suns. Verve is their official energy drink. Before that could happen, a panel of lawyers for the NBA as well as their Doctors tore the formula and company apart and came back with a resounding YES! I tried this and it was the worst drink. I would advise to not use this product. All of the positive comments are from sales reps. This company is like Mona vie. A simple Pyrimid sceme. Half the employees have criminal records, cannot get real jobs and are out of work car salesmen. Bad product and poor company structure. Want to drink thick homeless man piss try it.

No one can or should make any health claims about what Verve or Vemma can or can't do. Everyone can try it with a 30 day empty bottle/can money back guarantee. As for the NCAA, there IS a caffeine ban in college sports, however, it is at amounts that would equate to an athlete drinking about 10 Verve and then being tested. One Verve has the caffeine equivalent of approxiamately a cup of coffee (80 mg).

hey" let me say that i have suffer with sinus problem too many years a friend introduced me to verve, in six days i noticed that i no longer was using the vaporub which i used every single night in order to breathe properly, listen if it works for you forget what others are saying, it's your body that needs the good nutrition go for it.

You're a VEMMA distributor? You evidently missed a training or haven't gone through your back office! (The last time I checked there were still the press releases in the back office regarding Verve meeting WADA standards, which I would think the NCAA would accept.)

Verve meets WADA standards based on testing by NSF and consumerlab.com

If it didn't meet WADA standards, pro athletes wouldn't be able to use it, and 4 U.S. pro sports teams use it as their official energy drink!

Hey Fee, I am also a Vemma rep and I actually called Vemma today and they said that the Verve did pass an NCAA screening last October, but I have still been looking for some written proof.

If anyone has ever tried sparks- it is a (or was- I think they took the caffeine out) malt beverage energy drink with a kind of orange soda/cough medicine flavor. My immediate reaction to the taste of verve was that it was like a mix between a sparks and a can of V8. So yes, it has an interesting flavor. I haven't used it on a regular basis because of the cost but it definitely makes you feel good and a lot more energized than any other energy drink.

Blayne, the NCAA would not approve of the Verve due to NCAA banned ingredients, ie., guarana and a couple others. High school, you should be ok. If you coach college, the Vemma nutritional supplement would be better than nothing. It could help provide increased energy due to helping improve overall health.
I am a Vemma rep. and just happened to have looked into supplying college teams with Verve.

I'm a coach and am considering purchasing this product for my teams and possibly the concession stand. My athletes feel they "require" these energy drinks before competition and I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. Anyway….just wanted to know if anyone out there has had a negative experience. Not to rain on anyone's parade but, there are two sides to every coin, so to speak…
