$100 Gift Pack Giveaway from No Fear
Mar 26th, 2009 by Steve
Believe it or not, it's time for another contest here at BevReview.com. Recently, the kind folks at No Fear sent us the newest flavor in their energy drink lineup, No Fear Bloodshot.
This rather tasty energy drink contains real sugar and a bunch of different juices, combined with a bitter-smooth orange flavor that's a good fit for those looking for a pick-me-up in the morning. Here's a look at our reviews for this and the three other available flavors:
One thing I learned about the No Fear lineup — which incidentally is distributed by Pepsi — is that they like to combine a uniquely bitter flavor with something of complimentary smoothness.
It's an odd mashup, but for some reason, it just works, especially in the Bloodshot flavor. I really like that one (and I'm not just saying that because they sent me a free can!)
No Fear is currently running an interesting promotion called Earn Some Cred. Think of it as the energy drink version of Pepsi Stuff or My Coke Rewards. But what's interesting is that the codes that you redeem for prizes are actually hidden under the pull tabs. I don't think I've ever seen that before… rather clever! You can redeem your points at EarnSomeCred.com… or in some cases, you may be an instant winner. (I, unfortunately, was not!) This includes trips to mixed martial arts competitions with WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting), a chance to learn motocross, surfing in Hawaii, and some live music events.
But that's not the only way you can get some stuff. Thanks to the No Fear folks — and to people like you who proved to the No Fear folks that you like getting free stuff — BevReview.com has been provided with a gift pack valued at $100. It includes the following:
- 1 12-pack of the new No Fear Bloodshot Energy Drink
- 2 No Fear Hoodies
- 2 No Fear T-shirts (two different styles)
- 1 No Fear Bloodshot Hat
- 1 CD featuring Lamb of God's latest: "Wrath" (released Feb. 24)
- 1 Sticky Bumps Surf Wax
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that there's quite a bit of stuff there. Frankly, I'm a bit jealous that I have to give this away! Those hoodies look pretty comfy!
I've only got one of these gift packs, but it can be yours!
Here are the rules:
- Write a comment to this post stating whether or not you have actually tried any No Fear energy drinks before. What did you think?
- Include your full name (which will be displayed) and e-mail address (which will be hidden) so you can be contacted should you win
- Tell me how you heard about this giveaway from BevReview… was it by browsing, RSS feeds, Twitter, etc.?
- Share what your biggest fear is and why
- Entries are due by Monday, March 30 at midnight CDT.
- Random winner(s) will be announced by Tuesday, March 31
- Contest limited to folks in the continental United States
This is a great giveaway, so you won't want to miss your chance to win. Please spread the word via e-mail, Twitter, Digg, or by yelling at the person who sits next to you! Have No Fear if you want to win!

2. From my good friend @Tannerman on Twitter!
3. My biggest fear is probably that I wouldn't accomplish what God wants me to in my life. (Followed closely by being pricked with needles. I hate needles.)

(oh and bananas…i hate them…even the smell of them causes my gag reflex to go crazy…blech!)
2. From TWITTER! I heart TWITTER. yay.
3. My biggest fear – practically – on a daily basis- getting pooped on by a bird. No lie- every time one flies over my head, I stop, stoop down, and cover my head, and scurry the opposite direction it's flying. So far, I have not been a target!
1. Tried all flavors, including the discontinued Gold flavor which was my favorite.
2. Twitter

2. BevReview.com is where I heard about this contest

2. From an instant message from mr. tanner
3. I'm afraid of the dark…oh wait, I didn't want to tell the world that…um…I'm really really afraid of spiders…which was only after seeing the movie Arachnophobia. I've never recovered.
1. Tried all the ones I know about, except these new additions. The GOLD was the best of the bunch.
2. Browsing the reviews
3. That the reoccurring dream of performing an old high school play and not remembering any of the lines will become real.
1. I've tried the sugar-free version and as far as I can tell, its the only sugar-free energy drink that has a flavor other than taurine. Double plus good in my book!
2. RSS
3. Checking out without doing anything important enough to have a cool six word obituary (http://www.amazon.com/Not-Quite-What-Was-Planning/dp/0061374059).
1. I drank the regular No Fear for a long time, then my husband found Bloodshot at the store and brought it home for me to try. I probably drink at least 3 cans a week.
2. I was looking up what other people thought about Bloodshot, and came across the website.
3. Despite the name of my favorite energy drink, blood and needles. No matter how much blood the doctors suck out of my arm, it still makes me want to throw up.
1. I've tried No Fear before and made the mistake of drinking it at 2a.m. I didn't get to sleep until 10pm the next day.
2. Browsin…

1) I haven't tried any No Fear drinks but my brother swears they're fantastic and he's an addict (I may share a hoodie with him if I win)
2) I was doing a google blog search for Pepsi, which is my drug of choice.
3) I have lots of little phobias: Swimming in the ocean (I don't like not knowing what little creature I could be stepping on), putting air in my tires (fear of the tire exploding…you see that on the news all the time, right? Someone's tire exploding and killing them instantly..ok, maybe not but it COULD happen).
1. Nope, I haven't tried any No Fear energy drinks yet. I DID try the new yellow Amp based on your review though (and enjoyed it!)!
2. I heard about this from your twitter!
3. My biggest fear is being in an unfamiliar house at night, alone. It just scares the snot out of me when I'm standing in the middle of a dark room, with nobody around, in a house that I haven't been in more than once or twice.
Keep up the great work on the site!
1. I have never tried any of the "No Fear" drinks.
2. From a post on facebook from Mr. Steve Tanner.
3. My biggest fear is being left all alone in the world…no family and no friends…just interesting drinks to try…actually I like water and the natural things in life…so my biggest fear is that too many harmful chemicals/dyes/etc. are being added to give a drink a shelf life.
1. Never tried it.
2. From Facebook.
3. Biggest fear – That my children would be distracted from what's really important in this life!
