I was lucky to get hold of Shiso Pepsi in Chiba last summer. It was delicious. So was iced roast buckwheat tea (sobacha) which thankfully is easily made in any kitchen outside Japan. One Spanish contribution to the weird beverage contest was green tea-flavoured lager, which some of us would even blended with soda at a 50% solution. Sadly it seems to have been discontinued, but the Swiss have recently taken to making okara-flavoured Rivella. Way to go.

I had the Green Tea Flavor-it seemed lighter in taste than regular Diet Pepsi but I swear it had a slightly bitter aftertaste.

I also had the Azuki Bean Pepsi which I actually enjoyed-reminded me of sparkling grape juice at times (which doesn't make sense but it did)

Hate to say it but who cares I live in the Bay Area and you can't even find the Throwback Pepsi or Mountain Dew anywhere – they could release these drinks here and they would be even harder to find.
