I can find Pepsi's real sugar versions all over the place, but Dr. Pepper seems to have stopped selling Heritage. Such a bad move. With the love for Dublin, they should have doubled down on the bet and claimed their brand as the main brand committed to natural ingredients — preferably leaving out that cancer-causing sodium benzoate too. I went through more than 4 cases of Heritage. Not 12-packs, cases. Now I barely drink DP at all. It's just too hard to find the real thing. And there's at least 5 places off the top of my head with real sugar Pepsi.

Has anyone compared the taste to Coke's "Mr Pibb"? I always found Mr Pibb to be smoother than Dr Pepper for some reason.

I quit drinking regular Dr Pepper about 1999. It just wasn't the same. I kept thinking ,"this tastes like Vicks formula 44D!"(Shudder and insert appropriate "yuk" face here.) I kept tasting occasionally over the summer, it still tasted "off" to me. I don't really like other kinds of pop, so I just went pop-less, other than the occasional Coke. When retro Dr. hit my area, I thought Whoo hoo, gotta give it a try! It was perfect! It tastes (In my humble opinion) like it should! My only regret is my supply is running out, we won't be getting it around here any more. Boo! Dr Pepper, you owe me a hankie to cry in! I don't want the "new" formula, I'll just have to pout and drink tea! Love you anyway!

I grabbed some Dr. Pepper made with real sugar just to try it. To make it clear I HATE Dr. Pepper but my girlfriend lives on the yuck. After trying this classic DP I must say this is 100 Thousand times better than the crap they market right now. In fact I would go so far as saying this could be my favorite soda pop at the moment. If you guys get a chance to try some of this stuff you had better stock up. I would get real sad if they cancelled this awesome stuff!
