Review: Hansen’s Natural Original Soda

Hansen's Natural Original Soda

Hansen’s Natural Original Soda is a clean take on the cola flavor. It’s not super awesome or outstanding. Just a refreshing break from the everyday containing cane sugar… and that’s a good thing.

Fresh Ginger Ginger Ale by Bruce Cost – Pomegranate

Fresh Ginger Ginger Ale Pomegranate by Bruce Cost starts smooth and refreshing at first… then the spicy ginger flavor hits you!

Review: Flathead Lake Monster Sour Cherry

Flathead Lake Monster Sour Cherry

Flathead Lake Monster Sour Cherry is an interesting concept with lackluster execution. Very syrupy, with an artificial flavor that could be considered medicinal, this drink tastes like an average cherry beverage. When priced as a “hand crafted soda,” it’s not a good value.

Review: 7Up (with new “crisp, clean” formula)

7Up with new "crisp, clean" formula in 2010

This 2010 reboot of 7Up with a new “crisp, clean” taste is actually very good, undoing most of the flavor mistakes of 2006 “natural” version. 7Up once again tastes appropriately blander… and that’s a good thing.

Review: Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash (with Real Sugar)

Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash (with Real Sugar)

One of our favorite seasonal flavors returns for the 5th installment during the holidays, but this time around, Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash is sweetened with “real sugar”. Does it help the taste? You bet. It’s better than ever!

Review: Crush Lime

Crush Lime

Crush Lime is very syrupy and fake in nature… and smells like a household cleaning product. It’s what is to be expected in the Fanta/Crush category of fruit-flavored soft drinks. Something that sort of tastes like the flavor on the label, but that’s about it. Quite disappointing.
