Can Holiday: Chocolate Covered Raisin Day – March 24

Origin

Unknown.  However, I have a sneaky suspicion it was a certain candy company.

How to Celebrate

The idea behind Chocolate Covered Raisin Day is to celebrate one of the most popular candies in America.  This is an especially easy holiday to celebrate as you can find chocolate covered raisins to buy and eat just about anywhere.

The Cans

To honor this day we are featuring two cans. First, the 1972 Canada Dry Dutch Style Chocolate Soda can.

Next, we have the 1970s Canada Dry Raisin Soda can from Canada.

Just in case you were wondering what Raisin soda tastes like, "Raisin" in French translates to "Grape" in English.

Happy Chocolate Covered Raisin Day (3/24)!
