Slated for return is the original flavor from 2007, commonly known as Mtn Dew Game Fuel Citrus Cherry. Joining the flagship is a new flavor, Mtn Dew Game Fuel Electrifying Berry, described as containing a "charge of electrifying berry flavor."

The return of this lineup once again is tied to video game consoles, with this iteration promoting Microsoft's new Xbox One device. PepsiCo sibling brand Doritos will also be part of the promotion.

Per the official press release, "products will hit shelves in early October and are available for a limited time only."

  1. The berry one sounds interesting. If I get one, I'd pick that one.

  2. Brian DeVantier says:

Why not just keep game fuel out? People love it and just makes sense for it to stay out. Please consider doing that

  3. I tried MTN Dew Game Fuel Electrifying Berry today. I thought it was good, but the aftertaste tasted like MTN Dew Voltage.

  4. They REALLY do need to keep the citrus cherry flavor in production. I have been a big fan since its release for Halo 3. I buy as much as possible everytime it is released. Now, I am having a hard time finding any at all. I have only been able to procure 1 20oz bottle this time around at the local grocery store. I really wish they would mass produce this.
