A new Dr Pepper flavor is on the horizon, however it's just going to be a diet flavor extension: Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr Pepper… for a limited time!

Of course we're not going to do a beverage review of Dr Pepper. C'mon, this drink rocks. It now has a new logo design, first introduced on Dr Pepper Berries & Cream and later on Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper.

Rumor Mill: Per conversations held at a convention and shared on a beverage industry message board, a new Dr Pepper line extension is on the horizon: Dr Pepper Creame.

"It smells pretty much like the original Dr Pepper. And that first sip? Not bad," we write in this beverage review. "It's predominantly the traditional Dr Pepper flavor, however the aftertaste is noticeably different."

Dr Pepper introduces a new flavor, Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper — also available in the stronger selling Diet version. Looks like this is going to be limited release appearing in October 2004.

It's a red looking Dr Pepper. And tasted that way. It didn’t seem very berry or cherry. It was OK, but nothing spectacular. It seemed to have somewhat of a cough syrup flavor to it, but very weak.
