Review: Arizona Lemon Lime Rickey, Grape Lime Rickey, & Mango Lime Rickey

Arizona Lemon Lime Rickey, Grape Lime Rickey, & Mango Lime Rickey

After successfully carbonating cherry and lime, Arizona’s Lime Rickey line grows to add tasty additions with Lemon and Mango, but the best flavor is by far the Grape!

Review: Nehi Grape

Nehi Grape

If you can find Grape Nehi, then you’ll want to pick it up just to see what makes other grape beverages so inferior. It’s a great grape!

Review: Thomas Kemper Classic Grape

Thomas Kemper Classic Grape

Thomas Kemper Classic Grape is a nice, easy grape soda that goes down smoothly. A slight tartness to the flavor compliments the sweet, presenting a balanced taste. It’s a recommended clean grape soft drink!

Review: Drank Deuce

Drank Deuce

Drank Deuce is the relaxation-oriented energy shot version of big brother Drank, making it a curious entry in this growing beverage classification. While the flavor could be stronger, the shot incarnation of the formula agrees with us better in regards to its functional benefits and taste.

Review: Drank

Drank is a functional beverage that claims to produce a calming effect through the unique inclusion of melatonin, valerian root, and rose hips. With a light grape flavor and overtly sweet taste, the concept is unique. Unfortunately, I personally didn’t experience the relaxing influence that the can proclaimed, however your mileage may vary.

Review: NuGrape Soda

NuGrape Soda

Guest reviewer Jason Steele chimes in with his take on NuGrape Soda. Considered better than Fanta Grape but not as good as Jones Soda Gruesome Grape, this beverage contains a HFCS-powered authentic flavor that would be refreshing and tasty on a hot summer day… but only if consumed quickly!

Review: Amp Energy Traction

Amp Energy Traction

As previously rumored, Amp Energy Traction is a grape-flavored line extension of the Mountain Dew-inspired energy drink brand. I really liked the beverage, probably because it reminded me so much of one of my favorite Dew line extensions, Pitch Black. The grape flavor is good, but not overpowering. It definitely still tastes like an energy drink, but it’s a favorable experience all around.

Rumor: Grape Amp Energy / Orange Amp Energy

Grape AMP / Orange AMP

From the beverage rumor mill… PepsiCo is looking to roll out a couple of flavor extensions to its Amp Energy Drink, including Grape and Orange. Possible launch date would be March. With Amp’s NASCAR sponsorship and Super Bowl commercial, it looks like this brand is really shooting for growth in 2008.

Review: Jones Soda Gruesome Grape Soda (2007)

Jones Soda Gruesome Grape Soda (2007)

Have a taste for a super sweet grape drink? Jones Soda Gruesome Grape Soda, part of the 2007 Jones Soda Halloween collection, fits the bill nicely. Good grape flavor, with a candy-like influx of sugar. Yes, “pure cane sugar,” according to the packaging. It’s a nice novelty flavor from Jones Soda, packaged in a appropriately-sized 8 oz. can. Pretty good!

Review: Tropicana Twister Soda Grape

Tropicana Twister Soda Grape

Putting to shame the other lame flavor extensions found in the Tropicana Twister Soda lineup (Tropicana Twister Soda Citrus, Tropicana Twister Soda Orange, and Tropicana Twister Soda Strawberry), Tropicana Twister Soda Grape was surprisingly “not bad.” That doesn’t mean it was great, but I also didn’t spit it out of mouth when I drank it.
