There’s a new Turkey & Gravy Soda on the block, and its name is Christmas Ham. As the anchor “gross meat product” selection in the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection, Jones Soda Christmas Ham Soda lives up to the task of forcing you to gag and really hate that you tasted this beverage. However, the flavor — even a bad one — is quite lacking to take on the worst Jones Holiday flavor ever.

You know those pine-scented air fresheners you see hanging from the rearview mirrors of cars? That’s kinda what Jones Soda Christmas Tree Soda tastes like. Only in liquid form. And carbonated. It’s a rare flavor in the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection because it oddly isn’t modeled after a food item. Nope, it’s modeled after a tree. Even with that difference, it’s still not a good idea to stick it in your mouth!

Sure, it’s a really, really yellow-colored drink. After all, it features both Yellow #5 and #6! But Jones Soda Egg Nog Soda isn’t too bad. It has the flavor of a lemon pie, very sweet. It’s a huge improvement over the garbage featured in the 2006 namesake of this drink. Overall, not a huge win, but something that forms a rather neutral compliment to the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection.

Much improved over its 2006 version, Jones Soda Sugar Plum Soda is quite sweet, almost like liquid cotton candy. The blueish color is far more appealing than the red hue used in a previous installment. Overall, not a bad addition to the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection.

Another chocolate-flavored soft drink in the vain of Jones Christmas Cocoa Soda and Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr Pepper, Jones Soda Chocolate Coins Soda tastes just like a liquid, carbonated version of Tootsie Rolls. It’s a great tasting flavor in the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection.

One would expect an apple sauce-flavored beverage to taste a lot like apple juice or cider. Jones Soda Apple Sauce Soda is not a bad attempt at the flavor. If anything, I felt that the drink’s apple flavor could have been more enhanced, as it was somewhat weak, almost like watered-down apple juice combined with carbonation. Still, not a bad contribution to the Chanukah Pack found in the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection.

Jelly Doughnut Soda? It’s another flavor found in the Chanukah Pack, part of the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection. There really isn’t much of a donut flavor here. Rather, this soft drink is primarily a strawberry-flavored drink, and not a very solid one at that. Sweet, syrupy, but underwhelming overall.

Jones Soda Latke Soda is not a recommended beverage. Part of the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection by being packaged in the Chanukah Pack, the bitter-but-lacking taste, high sodium content, and really low use of sugar creates not a potato-flavored drink, but rather one that prompts you to find something to cleanse your palette quickly!

Improving quite a bit over its 2006 incarnation, Jones Soda Candy Cane Soda still offers a bad scent, but does provide a pleasant, minty taste. While not as good as other 4-Pack installments in the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection (Jones Soda Gingerbread Man Soda, Jones Soda Christmas Cocoa Soda), it doesn’t make you puke.

OK, so I know what you are thinking. “Cocoa-flavored soda? Gross!” Surprisingly, this holiday trend of chocolate-influenced drinks (started with Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr Pepper) is actually pretty good. Our beverage review of Jones Soda Christmas Cocoa Soda notes that it actually DOES taste like cocoa… and that’s a good thing. Very unique flavor, nice balance of carbonation and taste, and a welcoming aroma make this installment of the 2007 Jones Soda Holiday collection a winner!
