If the orange-flavored Mountain Dew LiveWire ever became an energy drink, it would look and taste a lot like Amp Energy Relaunch. Sporting an increase in sodium to better "revive" you like a sports drink, the flavor wasn't too bad. It was mild, not too artificial, and compared to other energy drinks on the market, didn't taste gross.

From the beverage rumor mill… PepsiCo is looking to roll out a couple of flavor extensions to its Amp Energy Drink, including Grape and Orange. Possible launch date would be March. With Amp's NASCAR sponsorship and Super Bowl commercial, it looks like this brand is really shooting for growth in 2008.

This beverage review of Sunkist notes that it's one of the few orange sodas that actually contains caffeine, in contrast to such other popular options such as Fanta Orange, Tropicana Twister Soda Orange, and Orange Crush. And frankly, it's better than those.

What's wrong with a beverage review where you note that "the packaging has somewhat of a goofy logo, though I must admit that I really liked the contrasting orange/blue color scheme"? Yeah, the drink is an afterthought.
