Coming soon to Mexico: Pepsi Retro, a cane sugar-sweetened beverage that utilizes “natural ingredients”, including cola nut extract. Available exclusively south of the border, the drink is another that does away with the use of high fructose corn syrup.

Hopping on the cane sugar bandwagon, Pepsi has announced a more “natural” version of their flagship cola beverage: Pepsi Raw. “Made from natural ingredients and containing no artificial preservatives, colors, flavorings or sweeteners,” it sounds great. Except that it’s debuting in the United Kingdom.

Pepsi does something crazy in China and changes their can color from blue to red… coincidentally the same color as rival Coke. One beverage maker is a sponsor for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The other is not. Can you tell the difference?

Is this the return of Pepsi Blue? Pepsi Summer Mix features “a mix of tropical fruit flavors” that are very, very sweet. If this wasn’t cola-colored, you would swear that it would be shaded blue. Per our soda review, beware of instant diabetes!

Pepsi Vanilla was launched in 2003 as a direct response to Vanilla Coke, which came out a year earlier. Our soft drink review highlights that “it did taste very smooth going down.”
