Pepsi Max Cease Fire had the possibility to expand the Pepsi Max line with a nice lime-inspired flavor. However, the result is underwhelming, with a drink that doesn't go far enough in creating a difference from the flagship. Additionally, the "companion" chips available in the Doritos Burn lineup offer plenty of heat, but their flames are in no way quenched by the addition of Cease Fire.

Japan is slated for some new, interesting flavors from Coke and Pepsi. Coca-Cola Plus Catechin will have a green tea influence, while Pepsi Shiso sports a basil-inspired taste.
